On my way to the races , my poor grill

On the way there a nice BIG bird flew in front of me , I heard a nice hit , then it looked like someone was shaking a feather pillow behind me .

I get to the race track and see my grill has a nice spot where half of the mesh is smashed all the way back , looks like a big hole , like 1/2 the insert is gone . :x :x

Pretty cool race though , it is supposed to be aired and online .

Racers from all over the US was there , $20,000 purse :shock:

Looks like the DJ grill may be going in tomorrow

^^Sucks, but good that you have a back-up plan. Nothing like going to a local track, and seeing it live. Used to spend every Sat. night at the Winchester, Va speedway. Think it's about 3/8 mile dirt. Great racing. Lots of fights in the infield, who could ask for more??? :lol:

I know how you feel Doug . . . its a sad thing to see your time and effort blown in a single second . . . but at least you have a back-up plan. I bought two replacement grills this time so if something happens to the first I have a second already made, Now I just have to make them lol.

I was way too busy working on the house today to get it in

Basement is almost done , and the dumpster should be gone in 1 or 2 days .

Now it sounds like I need some brakes before the weekend .

I will be so busy this week 3 am to 3 pm all week on top of it :roll:

I smacked a bird with the Jeep about 2 weeks ago. Hopped off the road and flew to the side, but then cut back at the last moment and met face first with my windshield... :\

Got the brakes done today , front was almost gone, they were at the squealers .
Detailed the calipers again while it was apart .

The rear was OK , I just done them not long ago .
