Shipping from Hong Kong

Has anyone had experience having something shipped from there .(HongKong)

I ordered some things on March 15th and was told they were shipped on the 16th .
Member has had good communication , and tells me to be patient ,, because they are coming from Hong Kong .

What is the normal shipping time from there ?

The last e-mail I sent to him , I asked him if they were coming by boat :lol:
Maybe slow boat , I am thinking :lol:

give it 2-6 weeks to clear customs -

If you didnt use a broker then you will have to do what I did and go clear it your self - and since your there you might as well pick it up. Give me a call and I will give some info.

I ordered something from Bankok, Thailand. It took 4 weeks and I didn't have to take care of anything at customs. It just showed up at my house.

the led strip i ordered for the aspire was in hong kong, took about 3 weeks to get it.

Hopefully it will be one day this week , I will pay closer attention next time as where it is coming from . It will be 4 weeks at the end of this week .

I hate waiting that long .

Ive ordered a couple things from HK and it just seems to depend on the item. Can be as quick as a week and as long as a month. As far as customs that should all be taken care of by the shipper.

I deal with China alot.....If it left the factory on the 16th...that does not mean the boat left yet
The hang up if any will be customs and what the shipper paid for.
Also the container will have to go to a terminal where it has to be borken down and sorted.
Typically...if we do not pay a premium for shipping....8 weeks.

I've recently waited 8 weeks as well. I started to think I have been scammed but in the end it just takes a long long time to go the "scenic" route.

Now the big one I am waiting on , coming from China is the HID's
