  • Guess what I found today?

    Give up? Ok.
Went to a local JY, listened to a 305 for a chevy c-20. Guy said I could wander around the yard, a rare treat in these parts. So, I stumble on a pretty stripped down 91 festy, but got both ashtrays for baby car, for free. It also has the center console if anyone needs one,BTW, not the nice one, just the box under the ashtray....
But, they have an escort GT, seats are decent, AND
It has the 1.8! Good! $500! I just might buy it......
Where at ya say? I ain't gonna tell, and they are not on the net, or even in the phone book!
    NA na, NA na na.

+1. Why is it I could spend all day in a JY, whether I end up getting anything or not? :dontknow: :dontknow:

I went with the guy they pulled the 305 for, he is about 70, and just as crazy as can be, really neat guy, I think I have a new friend.(he was over today "just to talk").
We got to talking to the guy who owns the place, and that was when wandering around the yard came up. Just a kewal place, old buses(tons of em), old cop cars, old fifth wheels, old farm equipment. We must have wandered around a good three hours! The old guy with me couldn't believe a youngster like me (I am 36!!!!) could enjoy it! "kids these days just wanna play on their computers"....... Good times!
