^^My thinking as well. Tempted to wait until the auction is over, and if he has no bids, make him a offer. The price is about the only thing that's holding me back at this point. Well, and the 900 mile trip. Course, that's been done on here before.

Then, I'm also thinking about this one. From one extreme to the other, eh? And it's only about 30 minutes away.

St. Cloud is only 50 miles from where I live. If you do decide to get it and need someone to pick it up for you, I could do that. But yes, that seems like a lot for the condition. I see much better deals than that on Craigslist all the time. There was one in Minneapolis last week on Craigslist that only had 25,000 miles on it. Looked like new. He was asking $1,500 for it. Sold in one day.

You should really stay away from carbed festivas. He is already saying he is having problems with it. Minnesota uses salt on their roads too, so you don't if there is rust about to cause the body to fall apart.

In his ad, he says he has two other Festivas, was wondering if he's on here. Probably won't mess with it. Tho, not totally opposed to carbed cars, but leaning toward FIs.
