  • Aspire vs Escort tie rod ends

I was wondering why Aspire tie rod ends have more expensive than Escort tie rod ends?

I can use Escort tie rod ends for with aspire upgrade brake? It won't make any different effects performance driving?

Since I looked on www.rockauto.com says Aspire tie rod ends cost about 70 dollar per one(Best grade) and Escort tie rod ends cost about 22 dollar per one(Best grade)

i've had escort ends on my aspire swap for almost 10k i think, no problems. No idea why the aspire part is so much more expensive, seems like it should be the same part # to me.

i have 323 tie rods on my aspire swap, it's been like that for over a year now and no problems

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I used AZ best quality Escort tie rod ends for Luxstiva's swap over three years ago. No problems.

The cost difference also escapes me.

More likely it was cheap material and won't last long more than 6 months or 1 year at time the cheap rubber will wear out quicker than best grade TRE's
