  • Trying to decide....

So, was out today, and happened upon a 91 Festiva, Auto, BLACK, needs the head gasket changed. Trying to decide if it's worth it. Did I mention it's BLACK??

Needs the head gasket changed, and some major cleaning, but starts, runs, drives pretty well. No dents, just a small rusted area in front of the right rear tire (where they all seem to rust).

    Did I mention it's BLACK??

well since you don't have a festiva right now, you should pass on that one and try to find a BLACK one

OH WAIT!!!, i think you mentioned it's BLACK

I think it would be awesome to see you build another BATSTIVA!!! and starting with a Black EFI would be perfect for a BP batstiva!!

      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

          None of your business. lol

The interior actually bothers me more than the H/G. But, it's not the worst I've ever seen. When my uncle passed away last spring, I ended up with his 92 Voyager. There was, literally, stuff growing inside of it. No joke, he had spilled bird seed or something in it, and it was growing when I picked up the van. Really should have taken before/after pics, cause people who saw it when I got it could not believe it was the same van.

Need to go back out and talk to the guy some more, cause he ordered a H/G, and if he replaces it, he's gonna jack the price up by 200 bucks. Should know more tomorrow.

If the interior is the problem, PM me. I might be able to help with something at least to get things rolling. I even have a carpet that would probably work.

I may have forgot to mention, but it's BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The interior is complete, just filthy. Think a good taking apart and scrubbing might be in order.

BTW, it's BLACK. Just in case you missed it.

At first glance, thought it was just the moon up there. Been a while since I've seen the signal. Will definitely know something tomorrow. Going back out there with cash in hand.
