  • Spreading the FF.com Gospel

I was at work today (Auto Zone) and a guy came in and asked if it was my Festiva outside. I told him yes, and he asked about my FF.com sticker in the back window. He wanted to know what was on FF.com so I told him it was a great place to come for parts, technical support, and general Festiva related comrodary. He said he had a Festiva at home he was looking to get running, and asked if I knew where to find a drivers' seat. I told him to come here and we'd help him out.

Later in the day, a guy came in with a late model dark green L, and we talked Festivas for a few minutes I told him to come here too. Said he had only paid $100 for it, and that it had 200k+ miles on it and was still going strong.

Hopefully I recruited a couple new members today.

            HAHAHAHA,
that is too funny. I also had 2 differant people that I gave cards to yesterday. One guy came into my work and started asking about my car because he had one he needed to fix...found out he bought the car I had been trying to get for the last 2 years. I know the car had sat for at least 3 1/2 years and he said it basically started right up....but now the rear wheels will not break free no matter what he does....lol.
The other guy just came walking up to me in a parking lot and we talked for half an hour...how he had a coupl;e through the years and it was the best car he had ever owned. A bunch of other stuff involving small fast cars...then come to find out about 7 to 8 years ago he had one that he rearended a pick up...and it was higher up so he kind of went under it...I asked a few more questions about the accident and found out that I saw him get in this accident while making a delivery for work. I was the first one to see if he was ok and then I tried to buy the car from him....lol. He had already called a buddy that towed it away and he gave me the number...I tried for a week or so to get the car from him but it never worked out. He said he would be looking at the site too.
Small cars and a small world....I love them!

I have also made cards and I keep them in my car. Then everytime I see a Festiva in a parking lot I put a card on the door. Im trying to get as many people from my area on here so we can have bigger meets. My wife is starting to get anoid with my obsesion for Festivas. I even have my 3and5 year olds pointing out every Festiva they see on the road. They make me so proud.LOL

Had my Festiva, (Sunny) for years. Just rebuilt engine, radiator, tune, rear bearing. Then drove it about 375 miles at 70mph. 47 Miles Per Gallon. It just cruised. My family knows I'm nuts about my car. Then I found this site and joined. I was shocked to find a whole bunch of people like me, nuts about their Festiva. I'm just getting it ready to paint, it's Poppy Yellow and beautiful. I'm enjoying all the comments.

What does your card look like? Any pics? I'm thinking about doing up some cards for my area; i always see a few Festiva's and Aspires around.
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.
