  • Yay! My Bike!

There's just one thing that I love more than anything.
I hold it so near to my heart.
It has just one gear and a pair of blue training wheels,
A headlight to see in the dark.

I like my bike. It's not like other bikes.

It has pinwheels and a purple banana seat,
Loud cards in the spokes as they bend.
It has a big horn that I honk when you're in my way,
So I don't run over my friends.

    I like my bike.
    It's not like other bikes.

I ride my bike to the girl that I like,
And she looks at me and my bike.
A tear fills her eye as she's filled with great pride,
When I ask her to take a ride.
Me and my girl, we ride all over town on it.
My guide is the street and the sun.
We stop for a shake--I pretend we'll share all of it,
When I hit the eject button.

    I like my bike.
    It's not like other bikes.

Sorry... Ghoti Hook flashed back to me while I was posting this and I felt it appropriate to post it.

Pictures of my new Suzuki Boulevard S40 are on my website... It's a 2007, brand spanking new. I started riding it with 5.1 miles on the odometer.

I just got back from my ride home and a quick cruise around town and I'm a little over 65.

This thing is a blast! The next thing I've got to order is a proper cycle jacket. I'm pretty set on the Joe Rocket Phoenix 4 jacket in blue. They would match my gloves and compliment the color of the bike. Plus - they're being cleared out of the cycle shops since a version 5 has been released.

    Woooo!

Cool. Just be careful on it. My friend Nick just lay his down after a woman pulled out in front of him. Got to watch out for other people more than anything.

Great looking bike! My buddy has an intruder that same color. Suzuki bikes are starting to grow on me now. Just keep that brain bucket on.

I miss my '82 gs750. It was a PITA to work on, but it was fun to ride.

Congrats on the new ride! I've heard many good things, about the boulevards.

                    Cheers,

Thanks. A jacket is going to be ordered today sometime. Found a great deal on the Joe Rocket jackets online.

PA permit law requires a helmet for the first 2 years of riding... I don't see how people ride without them either. I've had bugs smack me at 40+ on the visor and I can't imagine how that would feel on my face! :-p

I'll get some more pics up soon.
