    okay i notice something that really bothers me... here i will show you...

    Driver side!

    oh and yes thats a spare and please forgive the flames the previous owner put them on and well i got the right side off but it was really hard so i gave up till i sand and paint the car...
    oh and one of the pictures are a lil blurry but you can tell...

        they are different... one has the bumps the other doesn't... it's bothering me... i'm assuming something happened to one of them prolly the driver side...

          oh, lol. I didnt see it untill you pointed that out. could be a number of reasons someone changed that light, they are for sale everywhere I look, if it bugs you that much get another one to make a set

            I have a smooth driver side tail light I would like to sell, I think they are the correct ones for your 89. But you may want to check. $25.00 + shipping

                    Basically carb'd tail lights are smooth and FI were ribbed.

                    One of the few subtle differences.


                    Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

                      Close but its all 88-89 cars have smooth ones and 90-93 have ribbed ones. 89 auto cars had smooth ones and they are EFI.

                          goth, if you want a ribbed one, ill trade ya for your smooth one. i have a set of european ones i bought for my 92 aqua. that way ill have an extra smooth just in case for my 88'.

                              I had the same thing when I bought my 89. I found one smooth one on Ebay. The Pull a part by me has one smooth one, they charge $7 to $12 depending on size.
