  • A little education

I found out what a B3 and a B6 are, but could someone tell me what a BP and a B6T is, and also any other related abbreviations, so I won't feel kinda dumb reading some of these threads?

    Thanks

Thanks, I sincerely appreciate the info. I thought the T stood for turbo, but I wasn't sure.

The MX3 had an option where you could get a tiny 1.8 litre V6. Wikipedia says it was the smallest production V6 in the world & carried the "K8-DE" nomenclature. The V6 engine was rated at 130 HP. That'd be unique: a V6 Festiva.

Wikipedia lists the rated HP for the engine variants as:
                BP 132 hp
                B6-T 147 hp
                BP-T 179 hp
                BPD-T 206 hp
                K8-DE 130 hp (the V6)

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

I thought there was a B5. Maybe Im wrong. What was in the GLCs?

                        Edit: Found it! 85 - 89 GLCs had a 1.5 liter B5 rated at 73hp
