The Fiesta was very good car! It shared alot of engine parts with the Cortina, and could really be hot rodded.
Ford has still not announced wether or not the US will get a 3 or 5 door along with the sedan.Jim DeAngelis

I didn't see any MPG ratings, any idea? And I do remember the Fiesta's back in the 70's. To me the green ones looked just like a frog.Remember "I" before "E", except as in Budweiser.Comment

high 30's, low 40's. Basically the same as our beloved Festivas and Aspires, but with more crash protection, quieter (supposedly), and a few more creature comforts.Jim DeAngelis

I wish they would reconsider bringing the diesel motor over here. If they did, i would really consider buying one. It would still be cheaper to go diesel even though diesel is more expensive.The Festiva Store

they're working on a diesel for the US market. The euro and South American engines don't meet our emissions requirements, and they can't recoupe developments costs as easily on diesels, so we get gas first for a few years.Jim DeAngelis
