  • Is a BP swap in my future?

My brother has a Tracer with a 1.8 in it. It's an automatic and for sale. He says it has some issues with fuel maybe, but not sure. His price is $100. What do I do? I think a BP festiva would be great to have but I'm not too confident in my ability to get it done. Anyways, tell me what you think!

    1. Dude! Swap it!
    2. Dude! Drop the wrenches back away from the Tracer!
    3. Buy the Tracer and part it to members here.
    4. You don't want it...How do I get a hold of your brother??

I'm not sure how to make it a poll but here goes anyways.

I'm finishing my BP swap, amd I'm telling you, for the power it's gonna give you, do it. It's pretty easy. Just make sure you study the swap guide carefully, make sure to have all the parts you need, and if you have any questions, make sure you ask them before you do the swap; believe me, it's gonna save you a lot of time, I'm telling you from my personal experience...Otherwise, Matt's BP swap guide is the next best thing than someone doing the swap for you. Good luck!!!
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

I'd say go for it, take your time...read twice. Just don't miss the Meet! Read the articles and see if they give some confidence.

Maybe I'm not understanding what your asking for. If you looking for a guide on how to do a BP or B6 swap it would be in the N/A engine swap section.

I vote for option #2; step away from the wrenches. Next follow option #3; part it out to us, then last but not least option #4; PM me and give me his number so i can go pick it up for that steal of a price.

On second thought don't listen to me..

Go for it and sell whatever parts you don't need.
