red line shifts

someone said festys can handle 60 in 3rd which reminded me of a ? i had for a while. i dont have the tach cluster yet so i dont know when im redlining. what speed will the stock b3 festy red line in 1st thru 4th? my drive way is on a highway right in the middle of a long corner...sometimes i pull out when i see nothing then all the sudden i got a semi on my ass. what speed does each gear redline at?

I actually do go to 55 or 60 in third often, its about 65 when you hear the engine start to almost giveout, and loss momentum, I think that is when its passed redline, so Im think 60 is redline.

No tach in my b3 carb car but I'll check the mph max in 3rd for you tonight on my way home from work unless there is too much traffic. I think I've been around 75 in 3rd.

My brothers Neon, which had a nicely built engine, would run to 95 in 3rd gear and it was pretty damn quick getting there too.

5 speed...75 in 3rd and not even to 6k closer to 5 or 5.5k, had to slow down due to traffic. It was screaming a little, I usually shift at about 5.

I do have slightly taller than stock tires.

I figure I can do about 97-100 in third, when im at the track I pass the line doing 91-92, but im still only at 6400 rpms, and this motor governs at 7200, so im guessing 97-100, kinda lose it after 85 lol
