  • Lotsa stuff at Columbus JY

Safety Guy & I went junkyarding yesteday (found my window ). There's a goldern treasure trove at Woody's: http://www.woodyssalvage.com/

3 Festivas, two with AC, one with power steering! 2 are carbed, 1 FI. All three looked like nobody had torn into the engines yet. There's also nice brake swap, but I think Karl's got dibs on the suspension stuff.

        Don't look at me either!

If I get time in the next few weeks, maybe I can pull some things. I barely have enough time and energy right now for my own stuff!

        (and festivas don't need ps...)

As far as "ease" of pulling goes, this yard doesn't put up all their cars, so some creative jack work would be needed.

Now to add to what Dave said:

-at least one set of nice Festiva smoothie tails between the two carbed L models
-at least one set of grey map pockets from the blue GL
-two older Mercury Tracers with the 1st gen B6 in each

I don't even know if I'll have time to go get what I want, but again, if I have time, I'll pull what I can, provided the price is right.

Can you please, please, please get me the computer chip thing that connects to the AC setup? It's inside the car, behind the dash. I'm not sure what it does, but when stripping the car I accidentally cracked it. My car is an 88 Carbed.

                    Okay...

Spiko, have you gotten what you wanted? If not, you'll have to better describe what the "computer chip thing" is. I have no idea, unless you mean the ECU, but I'm not sure the carbed cars had that.

Jim, I don't recall it had the blue stripe interior, but I wasn't looking closely. I'll check when I go back. Not sure what shape it will be in if the windows were left open. Can't recall.

I might go back Friday morning if I have time.

Was this a dealer A/C or the add on? I'm interested in both AC & PS...

I'm not of the difference between factory and "add on" A/C.

If you need some small parts that would be easy to remove, I may be able to cope with that. I might grab the smoothies for imate if the price sounds right.

And I'll check the interior color of that GL.

We'll see! I can check back on this thread before around 9am today.
