  • Mountain Goats and Mountain Festys

Just got back from meeting up with a few people (Fastivaca, Jeffstiva, Leapin and associated parties) about an hour west of home. I took a couple of pictures. Just thought I'd share with y'all.

    On the way.

    Still on the way.

    Mountain Festys!

    Going home.

Having looked over these photos, and realizing that I need to drive less than an hour to get to these amazing places, I feel very lucky to live where I do.

Nope, just prairie oysters. About an hour east from there.

What gorgeous views! If the whole drive was like that simply amazing.

Yeah, I live within 25 miles of mountains if you jump off the top of them, nothing's going to stop you for 3000 feet. Ain't it cool! One of the mountains is called Jump Off Ridge.

Those same mountains give great silhouette photographs in the morning sunrise from the top of my house.
