  • Any Idea whats on the roof of this Festiva?

I'm considering buying this Festiva I found on Craigslist, but was wondering whats up with the roof I can tell that it has cab lights on it but whats behind that? American Festiva's didn't have fun-tops right?
    Here it is http://columbiamo.craigslist.org/car/755244055.html
-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.
-88' Mazda 323 SE, work in progress..
    -85' Nissan Sentra 5 spd.

the funtop was available in the US, just very rare. However, it doesn't look like one.

Looks like a bad respray on an aqua GL, you can see the aqua peeking through on the rockers and bumpers. The top may just be flat black, and shame on them for painting over aqua!

If I get it i'll return it back to it's former aqua glory maybe!......eventually, as long as they didn't paint the engine bay/door jambs etc; black too.

Good man. My first Festiva was aqua. There's no Festiva like an aqua Festiva.

Yep, I've seen a aqua driving around town before it was a GL auto, wish it was for sale

I'd take those cab lights down...Maybe ihe cut a huge hole in the roof nd put a piece of plexi in there with some self locking 990 style windshield gasket.!!! Awesome. By the way better watch out that car is somewhat close to me in MO....but I'm not paying that much for the condition that it is in.
