Sweet! '78-'80 Pacer wagon with woodgrain! I used to lust after Pacers in my younger days. I saw Wayne's World one too many times. Pray tell, was it equipped with the rare 304 V8?

        I Want It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back in the 70's, someone (I forget who) took one of these and made one of the coolest looking pick up trucks I ever saw. It was so good that AMC actually considered producing one.

Last time I was in one of those, it was on its roof, sliding down the road at 50 mph. When it came to a stop, we flipped it over, knocked out what was left of the windshield, and drove it home.

You like it cause it's different.
              I understand fully.

And AMC used alot of galvanized metal in their cars so they last a looooong time. One, the Concord (quite ugly IMHO), was all galvanized.

We used to have a Concord back in the day. You could see the engine thru the fenders. But that didnt stop it. It went through several members of the family before my mom junked it cause it was ugly.

I used to see a yellow Concord with a continental kit running around town when I lived in Illinois. The Concord and closely related Eagle wagon win the title for ugliest AMC car IMO, and the competition was fierce.

Warlocke, I feel your pain....had a '74 Gremlin X with the 304 V8...fast little car, but with 4-wheel drum brakes, didn't stop well! Still a neat car...wish i still had it.

That Pacer looks to be in good shape; they are starting to go for crazy money these days.
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

DaveG and I saw an Eagle at Woody's junkyard a week or so ago. It looked in decent shape. Parked in the lot, that is, not the yard itself!
