Plasti-coat?

I was thinking of covering my interior in pleather. But, I'm not really satisfied with the appearance. I don't think vinyl dye and/or paint would look quite right either.

What do you guys think about plasti-coating the interior trim. Any drawbacks?

I painted my interior rear panels with grey paint because the original had all chaulked up due to sun damage. It looks good enough, but will scratch if hit hard enough with a sharp object.
