and then saw this one a few days later....kinda dark but it was a dark blue anyway...could not believe putting a car like that up on those rims...

The rims on the Chevy don't look too bad. Now, make them a bit smaller and you might have something.

The ONLY good thing about those rims on the Chevy is that they can be removed!
I hate seeing it, but at least it's not like they ruined the car permanently.

To clarify....What I mean is, they're way too big! There is a thing called proportion, which those break all the rules of.. maybe the same style wheel, but in 17' may be better.

Sorry guys - but the only wheels that belong on a 63 biscayne (or impala in the pic) other than the stock hubcaps are 13" or 14" wires:

Ah, Classic Cragar mags would look nice. I'd even accept chrome, and I usually don't like chrome. Black chrome would rock, though!

Methinks we all have different tastes in wheels.

And no, I don't understand this "huge wheel fetish" that's going on. I don't see the need for anything larger than 16 or 17" wheels on passenger cars. Trucks can go larger, I suppose.

Today I saw an early 80's civic hatchback with those fender circle things that you stick on and 22 inch rims. Not only did it look ridiculous, you could actually hear the tires rubbing on the fender wells louder than the crappy sound system they had.
