Control Arm question

I recently bought a suspension kit from FMS and the control arms appear to be different. It seems that there is a metal cap over one of the ball joints but not the other(see picture). I don't know if this is a problem or if it is supposed to be that way...I emailed FMS and they haven't got back to me yet. Having never replaced this part, I just don't know. It's probably fine, but better safe than sorry. Does anybody know about this sorta thing?

Ogrestiva,

Literally, just got the same kit from FMS.
Control arms(with anti-sway bar bushings), tie rod boots, outer tie rods?
Anyway just installed the control arms last night!
Mine seemed to be OK.
Next set of control arms are going to be Moog though!
Call FMS again, and again if you have to, till you actually get to speak with Roger.
