Looking at new KIA cars today

Sunday, no sales so I looked at a line of KIAs. Anyone know if the Rio and Spectra have an engine with the same genealogy as the Festiva

no, they do not. Kias now share Hyundai (Mitsubishi based) engine platforms.

the 94-97 kias had mazda bp engine and mazda trans, and if you wanted i guess you could put a b3 but that would be funny and probably terribly slow
