looking up close there's very small gaps between the red lense and the spoiler itself, so it's not water tight at all, i may use a small amount a of clear silicone to seal it up after it's painted

I assume the lens came from a donor vehicle? If so did it have a rubber gasket that came with it? I would fab up a rubber gasket for it if you don't currently have one in there. If you use silicone, and one of your bulbs blows down the road, you are going to have a hard time getting the lens out without damaging it in some shape or form. It looks good though:-)

when i got the spoiler it didn't have a lense at all (which is why i don't have a rubber seal), i completely made this lense, i used a die grinder to shape the plastic to the right shape and i used an LED strip for the light and some clear reflective material to try and hide the LED's but still allowing the light to shine through, other than it not being sealed i'm very happy with it
