What's the best way to tow a festy 300 plus miles (trailer, dolly, etc)? Never done this before and would love input from those more experienced.

Either or will work fine. Just make sure if you use a dolly, tow it rear wheels trailing. I know its obvious but sometimes you never know.
If the tires are in bad shape. Id probably use a trailer and make sure its locked down good.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

Well, being a towing god for some years now. Like monsoon said, if the rear tires are good and the rear bearings are not loose, than doly it. Check it over good, a rear tire coming off down the highway is a little embarrasing. If not to sure, then trailer it, better being safe than sorry.A Horse, A Horse my kingdom for a Horse. (well maybe just a rust free festy will do)

The dolly will do fine. Where I live, we get thousands of tourists. About half that come in motor homes are towing a vehicle. Many use dollies and some come from thousands of miles away with no trouble. Like MONSOON said, make sure the tires are good and I don't see where you would have a problem.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

The guy that bought the metro vert from me towed it by dolly up to Maryland. Didnt have any problems. But I was more than a little worried for him. The tires were very weather checked. I dont think I wouldve had the cajones to dolly it that far.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

Thanks for all the advice and someday I hope it will pay off. I had hoped to be bringing home a festy today but the deal fell apart. As the gas prices soar so does the price of a Festiva.'93 Festiva GL / "HOT ROD"

FestivaWes and I installed a tow bar with nothing more then a pocket knife a pair of pliers and some beer. Wes towed it home at night (couple hundred miles ) despite the gale force winds, no safely chains, or running lights.
