Fetching a Festy

Well, I'm off to Maryland to see Megamuphen and purchase her Festiva...I'll be towing it back here with my Caprice and a tow dolly, so if you live along I-95 and see a maroon Chevy towing a red Festy, honk and wave!! I don't anticipate any problems, but if you see that same combo pulled off to the side of I-95, stop by and say howdy....

I have to say, now that we are safely back home, that I never knew how many FF.com members there are out there...my wife said it was because of my unique granny-style driving that all those people were honking and waving, but I know better! One guy even used his whole hand to wave and not just one finger....

Megamuphen and her hubby could not have been nicer and I am now the proud owner of her old Festy, a 1989 carby that I have decided to name "The Baron" because it's red...."Baron von Wrenchoften".

griffin is down south of ATL right? I'd love to meet another festy driver in GA, I've already got one buddy east of atlanta that owns two festivas. If you ever need any help I'd be willing to help wrenchoccasionally, even if I can't wrenchoften depending on how far below atlanta griffin is, but I think I've been there before.
