  • Took my friend off life support today

Last Friday my friend was feeling ill, he had been sick for a couple weeks, chest pains. He was going through a divorce so he thought is was stress. He called 911 and passed out on the phone. He never spoke again.

When they broke down his door they estimate he was at cardiac arrest for 13 minutes, took 12 shocks to get a pulse. At the hospital emergency by pass surgery

He was taken off life support a few hours ago, its only a matter of time

    He is 43.

Eddy didnt smoke, drink or do drugs, very active, did bounty hunting on the side, taught martial arts and worked for Harley Davidson at the factory.

Dont let this happen to you or a loved one. If you have chest pains or feeling ill GET TO THE HOSPITAL.

    Eddy, well miss ya.

My nephew went the same way. Didn't feel well. His girlfriend mentioned to him that his heart was beating really fast and that he should go to the hospital. he didn't listen. Early in the morning of April 19, he finally decided to go. He never made it there. Died behind the wheel driving himself to the hospital. He also was only 43

Have chest pains? GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!!

Today was his birthday. Sad day here.

Sorry to hear this. Bein' 60 and a smoker, I guess I'm on borrowed time. Then again, I have probably been on borrowed time since Memorial Day, '68.

Sorry to hear about your friend. So true about chest pains. My dad had them off and on for months, and never did anything about them. He had what was termed a mild heart attack at the time. But seeing the difference in him before and after, even a mild heart attack is devastating. Thoughts and prayers my friend, thoughts and prayers.

Thats a shame. You should have many good years left at 43. Just makes you realize how precious your time is here and how you should appreciate each day the big guy gives you. Sorry for your loss.
