  • im so bored!!!!

well here in Illinois we are getting floaded out (thank god we got a new sump pump and back up pump last year)im so bored i have lots of things i can do to the festiva but its kind of hard to work in the garage closed, not enough room, i also need the motivation i just want to stay in my room and watch tv but it such a waste of a day!!! tomarow i have to work all day and i start school monday so today is a good day to work on the car. i bought more gauges and i also bought a gauge pod that mounts on the dash but of course it dont fit!! nothing fits on the festiva i swear! its a 3 gauge pod it looks similar to the one you see on wrxs on the dash. i shaved the back half off as much as i coud and im still a half inch shy. i was thinking of molding it to the dash but then i dont know how i would be able to service the gauges if i needed to...maybe ill take some pics and get your opinions. i also have the heater controls out i was thinking of maybe just mounting them where the heater controls are but i would like to keep the heater controls even though nothing is hooked up..i finished my custom rear bumper it just needs paint its in primer now came out good looks oem. im so bored some one come over and motivate me i got tons of wirring to go through but dont know where to start

heres some picures the bumper it was plastic welded, we cut and shortened it and filled the old molding line in and then used a polyurathane fine filler (good stuff real flexible) i primed it and probaby just going to paint it black for now til i find a new painter to finsh the car

heres some pics of the gauge pod and i was thinking of putting them in the dash but i really want to make the pod fit,the pictures make it look like it fits but it dont its, hitting the back and wont sit flat

heres are some pictures of the parts i hope to put on this winter i want to builb the BPT, upgrade all the interanls maybe a 99 miata head, standalone, kia trans,LSD and im haveing neukin do a custom manifold as we speek and probably will get a turbonetics GTK series turbo not sure of which one yet. this is also depending on me selling the mustang soon i have about 50% of the parts just need the interanls, stand alone, lsd, cudtom intermidate shaft and a stand alone

Looks like you have plenty of stuff to keep you busy! That boredom shouldn't be a problem
