I ordered a set of the sport springs from fms and i finally got them today and they are black. To me they look like stock springs. The last set of sport springs i got were red not black. Does anybody have a stock set laying around to compare measurments with for the front I got 11 1/2 inchs top to buttom and the rear i've got 13 1/8 are these right for the sport spring/lower springs from fms. I just want to figure it out before i tear the car apart and go to install them and find out there wrong. I tried to call fms and left them a message but I haven't heard anything back yet. Any help would be great.

i got about 14 with just the spring, and about 11-11.5 mounted.87 rx7

The probably "accidentally" sent you stock springs. I HAD 2 sets of the sport springs and they were both red. Good luck.90 Festiva with Brand new B3, 5spd

i wouldnt worry too much about the color b/c their supplier may have just had them painted a different finish. may have been cheaper for some reason. if they are sport/lowering springs you mainly need to compare the height and make sure they arent cut/modified stock springs.
i havent dealt w/ FMS but, for those who have, are they shady? do you think they would do this?Comment
