  • Identify this connector

In the rear left corner of the engine bay between the coil and the windshield wiper motor, there are three loose electrical connectors. In the attached picture, No. 1 is the STI connector and no. 3 is the tachometer connector. Does anyone know what No 2 is?

Purely a guess. But perhaps for diagnostics off ECU?

I've been looking to this thread & still no correct answer. Can someone tell for sure what are those connectors for? Which one is the sti?

How come in this quote he said that pic no.1 is the sti, and you said that the sti is no.2? Which of you is sure?

I think the no 1 is for the fuel pump bridge. My guess is which one from the 2 and 3.

I can confirm that the no: 3 is the sti connector, to ground for setting the timing. I know for sure because, I removed the ecu, opened it and inside I found the lettering index on the connection pins as it says in my attachment picture. 1K = STI. I tested with a multimeter for continuity, the no:3 wire and it was correct.
