Have you ever woke up feeling great and everything is going just great, then all of a sudden somone comes along having a bad day and wants to make your day bad too, welllllllllll
that didnt happen to me. Woke up, had a great day, played with grandkids, got the the new front bearings back in the grey ghost, put new struts on, drove around for about hour, and fifty miles later, the front wheels didnt fall off and everything is great. Yep, had one of those days and it feels good. Hope everybody else had a good day, life is too short.

yea, it was. Getting the brake rotor off the spindle was hard and then I had to use a grinder to get the bearing housing off the spindle. For putting them on, the first side i used a vise and a deep well half inch socket. Course vise was rather large too. On the other side i put spindle in the freezer overnight and then the next day i put bearings in oven at 250 degrees for about 20 min and used a socket and hammer to put them on.They actually went on pretty easy on second one. Make sure no grease on bearings, spindle is clean and let them cool down before you put outer race on. The inner race you can put all way to bottom and after bearing cools, put up against bearing. Make sure you put new front spindle nuts on, i did not punch the edge of nut into the grove until i was sure bearings were all the way on. I drove car for about mile, came back home, jacked it up and wheel was little loose, so i tightened down on nut and it tightened bearings right down. I drove it once more and jacked it up but wheel was good and tight. I drove the car for about 50 miles and checked it for the third time and wheels were good and tight. I'll check it in couple days and see but im sure the bearings are where they are suppose to be. Or you can take to a shop and have them put bearings on with a press which is what i will do next time. Im one of the old timers that i like to do it first time, and learn. Ive had my festiva for three years now and this is first front bearings ive done. Maybe some of the others who have had theirs longer and done it before may have a few ideas how to do it.
