  • Fuses, guys, fuses.

    Just looked at Festiva.

    Some one had tried to put some love and care into the car. Had a tach and a auto trans console intalled. Some spray can painted stuff. You could tell it was some kid tring his best to do something veruses having it done.

    BEFORE the elect. fire it looked like he had put in a nice sound system.

    Now its just good for parts. Wasn't much of a fire either. Just enought to be more trouble than its worth. Another Festiva dead before its time.

    Put a fuse on it before you start wiring.

    I almost burnt up one of my cars before... I even had fuses installed, but it didn't kick.

    It burnt a bunch of wiring, smoked like crazy... and that was the end of my neon light days.

      and rember kids, there is some relativly simple math to figuring out what guage of wire and what amprige fuse to use.. i donk know it offhand, but i know its out there...

      saftey first... and when in doubt a master cutoff switch near the battery is always a good idea.
