I think a gun rack would look nice in the back window of a festiva.

lol well no underseat trays i looked high and low lol but.. i did find 2 festivas with very nice factory steeringwheels with the centers, 3 center caps off for the wheels, a complete ac system, a center console with sift boot and knob, 2 full aspire suspentions 2 complete aspire engines, one looks REALLY in perfect condition, a sohc b6.

I also found a escort GT and the engine and transmission looked really good, they only wanted about $250 for BOTH of them what you think good price? i think im gonna grab it i may have a new car in about a month if i end up getting everything lol

I hit the junkyards this weekend pretty hard too... 2 of Friday (a total of 2 Festivas), both pretty cleaned out and then another on Saturday... But I got everything I was looking for.

However... The prices REALLY skyrocketed since the last time I went and pulled a bunch of stuff. I remember a few years back (maybe 2 or 3) and I grabbed several headlights, a couple clusters, misc pieces and paying like... $70. I grabbed 2 headlights, an ebrake cable, and a distributer and ended up paying $90.

Since I bought my aspire at my local yard im sort of a familiar face. Last time i said some of the parts were for the aspire (50% lie) they let me have em. I agree with the price hike. I imagine it's for several reasons: the price of fuel, wage increases, and the fact that with the economy, people are holding onto cars...so why NOT charge more if more people are coming thru the doors out of necessity?

I've noticed the prices going up quite a bit too. I used to pick up headlights for about $15.00 now they're up to $27 or so Almost everything else has gone up too but not by as much as the lights.
