Guys, I have another question.......a guy gave me the following serial number for a Festiva : KNJBT07K6J6118203
I know they are supposed to be the 17 digits, and I think his title says it is a 1988 year. I have a '91 and '92 service manual and shop manual, but some of the letters are off ? Different. I think the 07 means it is an LX ? But the Letter K and number 6, and letter J in the center ......can anyone tell me ? Or maybe a complete breakdown of what this model might be ? He also tells me the shift knob has 5-speed label on its top. If it really is an LX, what should I look for in that year model ?
Like I say.......some of the VIN I figured out, but not all. I am thinking since it is probably a carbureator engine, maybe has something to do with it ? I have not seen the car yet, but hope too soon.
Did Ford ever make a 1988 or '89 shop or service manual for Festiva ? I never see any for sale.
Any help appreciated on this VIN description to me, thank you !!
