I'm on this site and have never owned a festiva (yet...). Now your considered a troll so we can make fun of your festiva-less-ness in a family kind of way. Actually, on a ford contour site I lurk on, they recently had a meet in which there wasn't a single contour there91 lx 4d hatch - first car and would be my father's dd if he would fix the waterpump
91 lx 2d hatch - parts car
92 lx-e - the quick, beat-up rustbucket
98 se - the luxury dd
in search of a festy...
Going quickly in a slow car is more fun than going fast in a fast car, cause anyone can go fast in a fast car, but you take a car that is essentially not that powerful, and make it do things that its not supposed to be able to do, well that's where the real fun is. - Jay Leno

I agree.. stick around, I've been trolling this place since I found it and still am Festiva-less. But either way, I've picked up lots of knowledge and had some laughs. And when you're back to wanting a festy (and we know you will) this place will be a resource to finding one.

Ive been on this board a while too. What i see of people who do not have a festiva: they eventually make a thread titled "Look what I picked up!"
You'll have another festiva. We should all take bets on what color you buy.
[edit] I'll assume red, because you probably still have red odds and ends. That is what a dedicated festy owner does, rekindle the magic. An insane festy owner buys w/o haste and takes pride in the history of every piece coming from a different car.Last edited by getnpsi; 10-14-2008, 01:40 PM.1993 GL 5 speed

i went one horrible year before i caved in and bought one from a salvage yard, and now im following the profile pretty close, i had a pile of parts from my old one, and pulled a bunch of parts off the old one fore i sent it to the highway in the sky. now im putting those parts on the most recent one and every time i remember something funny that happened while in my festy. still the best car ive ever owned after all this time.is not sposed ta do that...

Just to add, I don't have a Festy anymore, and I get on this site EVERYDAY!
It's fun knowing that I knew my car well enough in order to help others with theirs.
And it's cool just seeing what kind of crazy stuff gets posted by all the others around here.Joey Richard Jr.
