I bought mine at Advance Auto and that had it in stock. Generally if they don't they can have it the next day. Not sure if you have those up there. Also check out "Rockauto.com" if you can't find it in stores.

        1.3 L 1295cc L4 2BBL (K) or 1.3 1295cc L4 MFI (H) ??

All these numbers and letters are confusing for me!!

Ok 2bbl is the carbed, and Mfi is the fuel injected.

the 1295 cc is 1295 cubic centimeters (i cxould be wrong)

Go to rockauto.com, im pretty sure they might have the cap n rotor.

Im still learning so don't worry I'm in the same boat.

          **anyone wanna add?

Ignition Parts and More for Your 1989 FORD FESTIVA at Reliably Low Prices. Fast Online Catalog. DIY-Easy. Your Choice of Quality. Full Manufacturer Warranty.

The standard one looks like the one piston ring sold you (PM# JH144 ) Ither that or I think he pulled one like that our from the back. Check the PN# against the one you bought and/or go back to piston ring accordingly with that PN# before you order online.

Also double check the rotor # against the one rockauto has listed.

I just bought them from advance. Try a listing for a 89 323 with 1.6 motor. Should be the same cap and rotor?

Damn. Got the ones listed on rockauto today... and they're wrong too!!!

The rotor fits on just fine but the cap's not even close.

Go to Advance Auto (Advanceautoparts.com). I walked in, told them I have a 93 Festiva GL and needed the cap and rotor. Two minutes later walked out the door and installed. No need to try to match to another car. Just tell them what you have.

Thing is he has an 89 EFI.. Which has the rare funky vac advance dizzy. Only the 89 EFI autos had that dizzy, hence why we can find replacements.

I'm thinking instead of worrying about all this I should just drop a B6 in there...

But I'm tired of driving my guzzling shadow..
