Well you just taught me something else. I was under the impression that the 89-93 EFI was basically the same. Thanks for pointing that out...I'll hush now

Well, looks like Napa Auto parts may have something that works...

if it infact does I'll get the brand and parts numbers so no one else has to go through this headache.

I have all different years of Festiva's and yes there are different caps and rotors. But as long as I say the proper year and other information I have never had that kind of trouble. Maybe you just got some idiot that thinks all Festiva's are the same.

Even the MAF is different on the 89 EFIs. The 89 EFI is the black sheep festiva. It was the transfromation year. Some things got better, some things got worst. Ive notice at least at the NAPA I go to that they will try to help you where some of the other places just tell you they cant get a part and brush you off.

                Hrrrm..

How many problems am I going to run into if I want to change this thing over to a B6?

I'm on the verge of dumping ALOT of money into this car... but I may hold off on that and purchase a 91-93.. Blah it always ends up like this for me!!

Wow I must've done something REALLY wrong..

The cap and rotor fit... I also replaced all the wires and spark plugs....

Now the car is running EVEN WORSE.. It's having a hard time starting up..

All the wires are in their proper place on the cap... Could I have installed the cap up-side down? would this create any problems??

I'll try to get a video of it later.. It'll either start or immediately stall... or it wont even turn over.

Maybe I overlooked this but do you have a check engine light coming on for any length of time?

Lol I'm an idiot. I had the wires on the cap screwed up!

That wasn't my stalling problem though.. Stefan fixed it today... I forget what that was.. but it's that little black box on the throttle body.. Mine was screwed up, you'd tap it with screw driver and the car would stall.

All fixed now... so I have a smooth running festiva!
