ITS ALIVE!!!!! i got everything put back together today (well, almost everything, gotta adjust the valves and put the breather back on), turned the key, and... nothing. wouldnt start. gaaa. went over, looked at the other car (geezer), and lo and behold, the plug wires were on wrong. changed them around and voila, she cranked right up! man these things sound GOOD without a breather on them... doesnt run quite as good though. got a few more little minor issues to fix, then she'll be back on the road!

ps. you gotta realize, i havent driven the festy since the st. louis meet! thats like a month now! i'm going crazy!!!!! :laughing3:

Awesome congrats! I can't wait til the day I get to fire up old red, and start driving it...
