"This car is carbureted. Only the automatics in 1988 through 1990 were fuel injected. The carbureted cars are much better than the early fuel injection. The carbureted cars get better fuel economy than the fuel injected Festivas, and they are much more dependable, much cheaper and easier to repair. Best of all, the carbureted cars have and no expensive parts related to fuel injection, like high pressure fuel pump, mass air-flow sensor, fuel injectors, crankshaft sensors, computer, etc.

The best thing about these carbureted cars, simple, dependable, good gas mileage, and parts readily available."

wow, he obviously doesn't know much about carb'd Festies!

Took the words right off of my keyboard. Was going to say, I thought that one was on there for 1600 just the other day. If he didn't sell it at that, I'm pretty sure he ain't gonna sell it for 16,000. I, too, suspect a typo.

                    I asked him a question

"Are you out of your mind? $16,000 for a Festiva?

These things were never more than 6,000 from the dealer when they were brand new in 1993...

What makes this one different than the 2 I have sitting in my drive way (a 1989 L Auto I payed 500 dollars for, and a 1991 GL Sport I payed 200 dollars for) ?"
