ok... i got 14'' escort tires with studs on them and i wasnt so sure if the 14'' rims would fit right under the car... i thought that the old 80's escorts with the 13'' rims would fit fine... but just wondering if the'd be allright.

Also... i might be buying another festiva that will definately lead me to be on this forum ALOT more. cant wait to tell ya guys about it!

I had 14x6 Mazda RX7 wheels on mine, with spacers and longer lug studs, and I had no problem with rubbing or steering unless I hit a speed bump too hard, then it would rub just a bit. Just know going in that if you up size your tires, it'll throw off your speedo/odo a bit. When in doubt, check the stickie on wheels that are direct fit. Had one printed out, carried it in my wallet, just so I'd have it at the J/Y.

Didn't think the wheels would fit, was more thinking he was wondering about the tire size and fitment, the wheels are definitely not going to fit.

Not sure, FB71, I may have just read his post differently from you. I took it to mean tire size, you took it to mean wheel size, guess he'll let us know what he meant. lol.

Depends on the tire size. I had an escort at one point and the rims were 4x100. I tried to put them on my car to pass a safety inspection. (The rubber I had at the time was no good) They were 14"... Don't remember the other details but they rubbed.

              PS, Good luck with #2

someone told me actually that escort rims would fit perfectly on a festiva... i was wondering about if the rims fit right, and if the tires would rub/fit under the little bluebooger of mine.

So i guess i'm just gonna have to hunt down an aspire to get some bigger rims hu?

Aspires are 4x100mm, still won't fit a stock Festy. Needs to have an Aspire swap.
