  • N2 filled tires

Thread at this link http://www.randi.org/joom/swift/nitr...d-tires-2.html has some amusing and maybe useful comments on using N2 to fill tires. I don't know of anyone charging extra or ripping-off people by "selling" N2.

The issue with alloy wheels may hold some merit. I dunno.

The local COSTCO uses N2 by default and at least obviously, they don't charge extra. Besides, you get neat machined stem caps that are green in color. Faster than chrome? I'm not sure.

As someone else pointed out, our air is already about 80% Nitrogen.

Paying extra for Nitrogen fillups seem silly, unless you are racing.

As someone else said, the real issue is water/moisture in your tires, introduced by a poorly maintained air compressor.

Check the compressor's output before you hook up to your tires.

      Just my $0.02 .
