For the longest time i never saw another Festiva around me. I work at an animal shelter and do maintenance and i walked out the front door today and lo and behold, there are two festiva's parked right next to mine. I thought mine may have had babies. I talked to the owners, spanish, spoke very little english, and told them about our site but they didnt have computers. These things are multiply, which makes me happy cause when theirs breaks down, im going to get me some parts, lol.

i saw a truck-tiva yesterday on the road. It smoked taking off from a stop. I wanted to chase him down, i got an engine for him lol.
On the other hand if you can cut a festiva into a truck you can probably handle an engine swap.1993 GL 5 speed

yesterday at work (Shopko - which is like a kmart, walmart, etc...) I was outside helping a customer load some furniture, and there was a blue one leaving the parking lot. They are basically nonexistent around here so I had to do a double take.91 lx 4d hatch - first car and would be my father's dd if he would fix the waterpump
91 lx 2d hatch - parts car
92 lx-e - the quick, beat-up rustbucket
98 se - the luxury dd
in search of a festy...
Going quickly in a slow car is more fun than going fast in a fast car, cause anyone can go fast in a fast car, but you take a car that is essentially not that powerful, and make it do things that its not supposed to be able to do, well that's where the real fun is. - Jay Leno

I seemed to see a lot more aspires as well on the road back in the spring when I bought mine. It may have been the noticing what you own factor, but this was also when premium gas went to 4.99 for two weeks. This summer coworkers and even strangers were jealous of my P.O.S. who woulda thought.
I still see quite a few festivas at both the can/bottle recyclers and at the local home depot's. The spanish speaking guys drive them when they do not need/cant afford a truck. I've asked to buy one in the past and they say "no amigo it save me money."1993 GL 5 speed

Great milehighbear -- Maybe a few will migrate to Wyo ? I should get a pic of the 88 L I saved from the re-cycler here. I even got it to run, smokes a bit at times, but hey..... "amigo, it save me money !" :love4:
