why would the "jdm goodness" start coming here? The sales of some of Ford's stock back to Mazda will not affect anything at all according to both Mazda and Ford.If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

this is a temporary move to raise operating capital for Ford. According to Automotive News two weeks ago, Mazda has left Ford the opportunity to repurchase some of the shares if Ford recovers.Jim DeAngelis

no. the partnership will continue at the current level of cooperation. Ford did not sell all of its stake in mazda, just controlling interest (33% to 20%).Jim DeAngelis
