Well a real disappointing day. See the sale bill below it lists three festivas. There was seven there. I planned on buying six of them. The owner sold all his household goods, furniture, collectibles, all the other cars on the bill, boats, motorcycles, etc. Everything he owned was up for bid. When It came time to sale the festivas he shut the hoods and would not sell them. I kid you not. Would not sell the festivas ! I waited there for six hours and they walked right on by the festiva w/o even taking a bid. As a festiva fan I kind of understand but there were three on the sale bill and there should have been three at least for sell. The old guy wouldnt part with them. I talked to his son about it and his son ended up selling me one of his for $100 so I didnt come home empty handed. Ill post some pics here after I get them downloaded. When I left I gave the owner my name and numbers and he said he was waiting for title on the best one of the bunch and that he would sell it to me when he got the title. Very strange day. Took $1500 to buy them all and came home with $1400.

Wow, what did they all look like? Were they nice? If junk, would be easier to walk away!

Auction pics. Talked to the son and come to find out he lives in my hometown. Nice guy that owns a restuarant/ pub in a nearby town. I have to go back to pick up the car I bought so hopefully after the auction is over maybe I can talk the owner out of some of the other cars or at least pay him something for my choice of parts. We will see.

The one I bought for $100. Figure I could get $40 for the passenger side mirror. It had a small engine fire. Ill have to replace the wire harness but I have one off of by old sivler parts cars plus everything else Ill need to fix it. Just burnt stuff up around the disty. This might be my engine swap car. Real solid body and dirty but nice interior. 93 GL with Air. Auto too but that will change. I think its #12 .

                        Marcus...I feel your pain
The wife and I have spent many hours at auctions on to see items passed by or excessively bundled with other items beyond my budget.
I'm sure it will all work out.

I know how he feels about giving them up. I thought it was funny, had it not been at my exspense, that of all his stuff the festivas were the things that he didnt want to sell. Ive still got my foot in the door esp on the green one. I can wait till he gets the title and then pay him a fair price for it. It only has 85,000 on it. Id give it a good home. He wrote his # down for me.
