This is interesting...look up problems on cars new and old....Festiva had one complaint.....check out the 2002 Accord and Altima and Civic...yikes!

Not too bad of a complaint for a Festiva , it was the usual complaint , no heat from the dash vents ..LOL

I was mad about that too until I found out they were designed that way. Why DID they design it that way?

Not really sure , either Fords better Idea , or they just tried to make it a little cheaper and left out a few parts ..LOL

I think it was asked before, and if I remember correctly it was FB71 that said the reason behind it was lack of space for the additional ducting needed behind the dash.

Every Winter I Take Some Black Electrical Tape And Block Off The Vents. Works Great Been Doing It For Three Years.

I always try to pay attention. I dont always follow advice thats given. But at least I try to catch the high points now and again. :p
