  • I return!

hello everyone, ive been gone quite some time (prolly havent logged in for the better part of a year) with work, my first child on the way soon, and so many projects i had to put my festivas on hold for a while.

BUT, i just picked up my megasquirt unit and am preparing a write-up on the install as i dig back into my bp festiva and continue its path to awesomeness. along with that will come some other misc turbo related information as it pertains to the BP and festiva installation.

i hope to come back to the community and give the same helpful informative posts like i used to and continue to mod my car.

    Its good to be back

                i just picked it up

need to straighten out the mess of VW wiring it came off of before i can start plotting the new mazda routings.

ill look into the tps thing quick, been a while since ive tinkered with this info but i believe i had a 4 wire laying around i was going to use with my emanage for something or another.

ill also be converting over to coil pack ignition since i have a bunch of DIS parts from an extra sephia BP i picked up a while back. so theres going to be alot of crazy parts change-over going on.

also a good friend of mine is almost finished with his BP powered custom ITB mx-3 runnin on DIS and megasquirt (the MS is all thats left to install). ill try to get some pics of the build and the ITB setup saturday when we wire up his MS.

Why are you guys against direct fire coil? I am sticking with the standard ignition setup for my setup. I would like to do the No Lift Shift mod, and then maybe a few other things though.
