    Hit and Run

    I was at a guy's house buying magazines...in his garage and heard something go crunch....little did I know it was MY car being backed into. I heard a commotion which should have clued me to go look. I didn't. No insurance...I am screwed. Isn't life fun? At least it was my Corsica and not my Festiva. It dented the fender and bent the metal BEHIND the bumper cover at the edge of the wheel well. It isn't too noticeable, but it is structural...and they left.

    High probability it was a neighbor of the guy you were buying mens magazines from!
    Any paint from the assailant?
    Assume without insurance you didn't file a police report!
    What are you doing driving without insurance anyway?
    Yes, best part it was the corsica and not the Festiva!

      You have no clue who backed into it? Did they back out of a drive? Go knock on the door of the drive they backed out of....look for damage on thier car. By the way.....what the hell are you driving the car without insurance for?

          Liability only...nothing to pay for repairs. Sorry. I did get some cool magazines..the Car and Driver and Road and Track from 87 that tested the Festiva. I got some issues from the 70's and 80's....three full years worth of Car and Driver, Road and Track and Motor Trend and one 1967 issue with Muscle Cars. All for $15.

            lol...wasn't worried about the car...was worried about the poor sap he may hit while driving....maybe me when I go to Festiva Madness next year. But he just mentioned he has liability so alls good.

              Well, check this out.....after the hit and run...

              God, it is 3 am and I had a horrible nightmare. My car got backed into while I was checking out Festiva mags in a garage. I heard it but did not know it was my car being hit....they left! I dreamed I was at a restaurant and turning in the parking lot. An ambulance hit me and pushed me into another car. I got out and saw it was smashed and then went to the front of it and the whole bumper was pushed in. I tried calling 911 and they hung up on me. I tried and tried. I went to a house next door and there was a lady gardening. I asked if she could call 911 for me and she refused. Nobody would help me. I walked back to my car. The car the ambulance pushed me into was gone and nobody would be a witness. I tried calling 911 again. They kept hanging up on me. Then I realized I was AT the rescue squad parking lot and saw the ambulance that hit me. The guy on 911 said "This is over do not call again". Then I woke up. My car did get hit and then I had this nightmare. I am shaking as I type this. AWFUL nightmare!

                you forgot to mention the adult mags that just happened to come with the C & D stash....... which is why your corsica got crunched.

                    lol, they prob hung up on you cause you have no insurance!! You know its illegal to drive without insurance, right?

                        Well, not much sleep last night. Had a guy at a body shop use a pull jack on the bumper and got 85% out...the two dents are too "sharp" to be pulled out unless I do a full repair...$900....I paid $500 for the car and have driven it since February this year.
