Just wanted to let you, his friends, know that if Sam1956 gets on the forum and starts raving, that it is just a symptom of his illness.
It was confirmed today that Sam has a terminal case of FDD. As a result of this condition, Sam also has all indications of full blown FAD.
Both conditions are highly contaigous. Sam appears to have aquired his from contact with other adicts. The only known help is continuous Festiva stimulation/exposure.
For those who don't know, FDD is Festiva Deficit Disorder and some of it's symptoms are:
Continual aquisition of anything Festiva related
Looking for Festivas in every driveway and back yard when driving down the road
Having to stop and look at every vehicle that might possibly be a Festiva
Leaving notes on broken down Festivas on the side of roads
Constantly checking ff.com and all auto-for-sale sites for new Festiva related posts
Noticing a growing number of Festiva shirts in the closet
Always keeping a minimum of $300 in the wallet in case you locate a Festiva for sale
Flagging down other Festivas on the road to talk to the owner
and many more related symptoms
FAD is Festiva Aquisition Disorder and obviously requires finding new project vehicles to work on to satisfy the insatiable cravings brought on by FDD.
This diagnosis was confirmed today with Sam's aquisition of his newest project vehicle.
Dean (V8Festiva) and I are praying that he won't recover!
