yes, if its a real bp turbo with the turbo included, thats a great price. you will have to do quite a bit of fabbing to get it into your festy tho

i guess its not to big of a deal if you are a welder. basically you need to custom fab 3 mounts and possibly a fourth for strength. rework the center rad support, shave the steering rack, make new shift linkage, exhaust and downpipe, as well as wiring and an intercooler setup. the car would be killer when finished though.

Too much work for me, I think I will stick to the B6T.

The price is great if its a true BPT. The stock BPT tranny is AWD if I recall and won't work in our cars. Yes all mounts will need to be custom made. tranny linkage needs reworked. You will need to get a G25MR tranny and axles from a Capri or Turbo 323. The radiator will need to be upgraded with something better, depending on wht radiator you use you may need to rework the core support. You will have to do some rewiring of the engine compartment also

yea make sure its a true BPT, on clubprotege i read someone thought they bought a real BPT but it turned out to be a high millage bp05 with a GTX manifold. Look to see if you can find BP26 on the head, see if theres any play in the turbo. Also like brian said true gtxs motors will have awad trannies they are useless to us but can fetch about 250 bucks to the right peroson

I did not have to modify my core support for my b6t, i plan on going from a b6t to a bpt soon i dont think i will have to modify much the trans will sit in the same place so the front mount and rear trans mount will stay in the same place, as far as the top passanger side mount there is a post on how to do a no weld mount for that one.

Shave the sttering rack??? who shaved there steering rack??? heres what you do tac some 1/4 stock and use them for spacers on the crossmemeber to drop the motor a litle lower so the trans will tuck underneath the rack

I'd like to know if your tranny is AWD... I'm forever on the hunt for one.
Of course the red makes it go faster..

The main things is the trans and axles. You cannot use the stock trans or the AWD trans that comes with the BPT. Then install as you would any BP with the G25M-R trans. The intercooler and radiator are the toughest part due to the lack of room available.
