I can send you a pair of those fake "bull balls" to hang from the rear bumper. That would also be original and would really accentuate the twin chrome stacks! Besides, If Festivas had Cummins Turbo-diesels they would be fast. I toyed with the idea of installing a 7.3 Power-Stroke in my '62 Galaxie 2DR sedan. Aftermarket performance parts are just as available as they are for an old FE block and if you ever watched PINKS, you know what a healthy turbo diesel is capable of. Imagine a 4,000lb car instead of a 6,500lb 4X4 truck. Traction might be an issue though............

When I first read the title I was thinking "what the hell?" and then I saw your location and everything made sense.

Just kidding (kinda), whatever floats your boat, I think it would look interesting if done right. Doesn't that V8 Festy have exhaust coming out the roof?

There is a V8 festiva up here with twin stacks out the back roof. They are on a acuator so he can switch from the loud stacks to a normal exhaust. Pretty cool on his car but it is a V8 afterall.

but if you swap in the 7.3, it won't be 4000lbs anymore... it'll be closer to 5000lbs.
