Festiva hood shipping ?

Can any of you gentlemen tell me of a decent way to ship a hood for a Festiva, if found ?

I thought I would ask in case I find something decent for a replacement, before painting the car.

I thought UPS might have boxes these small hoods would fit into ? Or, is there a better idea out there ? ( You know ...Ford has a better idea?)

I wrapped one in cardboard, used packing tape, and shipped it. It then had the corner badly dented. I'd say it's hit or miss. You could perhaps find a flat screen TV box WITH STYROFOAM that could protect it.

Maybe swing by a body shop and see if they have something a hood came in that they will let you have!

And when you send it, send via UPS to a business. Much less expensive than sending to residential.

Great info guys, about the using boxes from other hood shipments, etc. I never thought about that one.

carbon max -- HA HA........great one ...in fact...it is a '53 Farmall Super C, love it...I like old farm stuff on our place too, but use them as I can.

Also have a 1950 Chev. farm truck with 12 foot box and hoist, original.



If I only had kept the cars over the years I once owned ........ I could be like this ......... ?
