  • What's Your Opinion????

I'm bored so thought I'd throw this out there for fun. I need new tires. I can buy 12s cheaper through Yokohama or can buy 15s for a cooler look and ride. 15s are more expensive and have to find rims at the JY. So what do you guys think. Will you "Old School Never Change" guys win or the "Mods to Die For" guys. Let me hear from you :-).

Im torn. Bella is basically "Old School Never change" but Crusher will be "Mods to die for"
My question to you would be. What are your future plans for the car? That would be the determiner to me.

I like 14's but I'm not too fond of factory anything.

I have 12's on a couple cars and 14's on another. And it looks like I will be running 13's on yet another. It depends on your budget and your taste.

The larger tire/wheel you go, the more chance of rubbing issues. It really depends on you, and what you want your car to do. Not only are the tires going to go up in price, but you're probably going to have to stiffen the suspension.

Well if you are going to stay true to your name you better go 15s . Are there 15" rims with a festiva bolt pattern ? The car was designed with 12s in mind. I run 13s on a couple of cars.

I have 195/45-15's on mine with NO RUBBING. They look great and tires are easy to find.

I am both old school and mods to die for. Rims IMHO are nothing to slack on. They are 95% the look of any car. Go with what you think makes the car look good. I say 15's.

I'd find me some nice looking 13" or 14" wheels...won't change things too much and the tires are far easier to find, and in most cases, cheaper.

I would just save for an Aspire brake swap. How much life is left on what you have now?

I will need to change sometime after January for sure. Tell me what 14s you guys are running. I've had little success finding 13s priced reasonably. 14s are a little easier but in talking with local tire shops (which I want to support) they are not carrying many of these either. They are carrying 15s because that's what the new cars are coming out with.

it all depends what YOU want to do...what YOU like... any other mods to the car? I have 13's, but I think 14's would be an ideal setup for me.

Ive got Primax 772s. Theyve got the duel pattern, so if I do the Aspire swap I wont have to worry about it.

15" looks too big on a festiva

I'd say aspire swap with 14"
